“Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force” Boost With 50 New Vehicles –
“Ek Aur Sudhar Programme”, was organised on Women Safety and Empowerment in Panchkula on Thursday, 12 July 2018. On the Occasion of this programme Cm Manohar Lal Khattar boost Women Police Stations and boost with the addition of 50 new Vehicles.
Addressing the Gathering, Director General of Police BS Sandhu said these vehicles have been allotted to ‘Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force,’ to check the incidents of eve teasing and other crimes related to women and girls in the state.
BS Sandhu thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning funds for the purchase of these new vehicles for Women Police Stations. These vehicles will exclusively work for the safety of women.
Haryana Police had purchased these Maruti Ertiga for ‘Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force’, which had been set up at the district level to check the incidents of eve teasing.
Out of the total, 6 vehicles each had been allotted to Gurugram and Faridabad districts, 3 each to Ambala, Karnal and Sonipat, 2 each in district Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Rewari, Jhajjar, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Yamunanagar, Jind and Rohtak and 1 each in the districts of Bhiwani, Palwal, Nuh, Hansi, Charkhi Dadri, Narnaul and Kaithal.
